KALYAN: A major fire broke out in a jeans manufacturing unit in Ulhasnagar on Friday afternoon.
The ground plus six-storey building have various jeans manufacturing units and the fire took place in basement-based four units.
On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the market was closed due to which no one was inside unit when it caught fire.
A fire official said that they received the information at 12.15pm after which four fire tenders from Ulhasnagar, Kalyan and Ambernath were called to control fire.
