US President Donald Trump's daughter and senior advisor Ivanka Trump will be part of the American delegation that heads to India next week for a state visit, sources said.
Ivanka Trump's husband Jared Kushner -- who is also a senior advisor to Donald Trump -- is part of the US contingent.
Donald Trump arrives in India on Monday, and will travel to Ahmedabad, Agra and New Delhi. The two-day visit is his first to India as US president.
Union Minister Hardeep S Puri is the minister-in-waiting for Trump's visit and will accompany the US leader during the tour, sources said.
Donald Trump said recently that the US and India could do a "tremendous" trade deal.
Ahead of his visit, there has been talk about New Delhi and Washington agreeing on a trade package as a precursor to a major trade deal.
But Trump indicated talks might slow down if he doesn't get a good deal.
"Maybe we'll slow down. We'll do it after the [US] election. I think that could happen too. So, we'll see what happens," he said.
