Woman’s gold chain snatched in Trichy

TRICHY: An unidentified man snatched a gold chain of a polytechnic college guest lecturer in Trichy on Thursday evening.
P Geetha, 45, of Ranjithapuram was returning home from the college when the incident happened. After getting down from the bus at Ranjithapuram bus stop, the woman was walking home.
A man followed her and snatched her gold chain, weighing seven sovereigns. He escaped with his associate who was waiting for him on a two-wheeler nearby.
The K K Nagar police registered a case.
