Nagpur: Various forms of love were captured in a musical ‘Ek Duuje Ke Liye’ at a programme organized by Kaladalan to mark Valentine’s Day at Scientific Society Hall on Wednesday.
The programme started with ‘Ye toh sach hai ki bhagwan hai’ by Sarang Joshi, followed by ‘Ungli pakad ke tune’ by Anushka Kale. Sagar Madhumatke won the hearts by presenting ‘Phoolon ka taron ka sabka kehna hai’.
The next song, ‘Sola baras ki baali umar ko salam’ was nicely presented by Neeta Kerhalkar while Sanjeev Jagtap sang ‘Fir wahi raat’. ‘Yeh ishq hai’, performed by Samaira Kale, was received well by the audience. Duet ‘Tere chehre se nazar nahi hatati’, sung by Neeta Kerhalkar and Sanjeev, got repeated clapping.
Songs like ‘Ruk ja o dil deewane’, ‘Nazar na laag jaye’, ‘Hai Rama’, ‘Vada karo nahi chhodoge’, ‘Khullam khulla pyar karenge hum dono’, ‘Dekha ek khwaab’, ‘Aye mere humsafar’, ‘Hum bane tum bane’, ‘Jab chhaye mera jadoo’ and ‘Kya yahi pyar hai’, besides others.
The singers included Anushka Kale, Samaira Kale, Neeta Kerhalkar, Sanika Thakur, Chetan Elkunchwar, Sarang Joshi and Sanjeev Jagtap.
Vijay Jathe and Nasir Khan were the anchors. The programme was conceptualized by Madhavi Pande while the singers were trained by Madhumatke and Joshi.
The accompanying artistes were Robin William, Pawan Manwatkar, Mangesh Patle, Ashok Tokalwar, Raju Gajbhiye and Waduklar.
Additional commissioner of police Nilesh Bharne was the chief guest at the programme.
