AR Rahman responds to Taslima Nasreen's remark on his daughter Khatija for wearing burqa

Music maestro AR Rahman's daughter, Khatija, has often been a topic of debate for her choice of wearing a burqa. Recently again, the debate stirred on Twitter when writer Taslima Nasreen tweeted that she feels suffocated after seeing Khatija wearing a burqa. Now, responding on the same AR Rahman has said that his kids have been brought up in a manner in which they understand the difference between good or bad and have their free will to choose what they want. Rahman further added that he will never retaliate this kind of criticism as Khatija's attire is her choice and she has the freedom to wear what she wants. Meanwhile, Khatija too replied to Taslima with a post on Instagram a few days ago where she mentioned that she is proud of what she does.
