KANPUR: At least 14 students skipped class 10 and 12
examinations of
CBSE Board in the city on Thursday, officials said.
City coordinator of CBSE Balvinder Singh said, “Nine students of class 10 did not appear for information technology
paper on Thursday. Out of 326 students of class 12 who were to appear for painting paper, five skipped the examination.”
He said the question paper was moderate and students could have managed to answer questions with ease.
Schools are abuzz with activities in view of the ongoing examinations. Teachers are busy motivating students and helping them to cope with the examination stress.
Meanwhile, to ensure copying-free examinations of UP Board, CCTV cameras have been installed at examination centres.
District authorities are on their toes to ensure that the Board examinations are conducted peacefully.
