VARANASI: Principal and a computer operator of Jagnarain Inter College in Jakhania area, under the limits of Bhudkuda police in Ghazipur district, were arrested by the STF for trying to take 21 solved answer sheets inside the college premises, a UP Boards examination centre, to submit before the end of exam on Thursday.
STF’s Varanasi field unit officials said that the college was on radar as questions papers of many examinees were getting solved outside the college to dodge the authorities monitoring the centre through CCTV network and webcasting.
On Thursday, the STF cops raided the college just before the end of the examination of physics and caught a computer operator Nitishwar Pandey red handed as he was trying to enter the campus with 21 solved answer sheets to deposit. Following further investigation, principal of the college Anil Kumar Pandey was also arrested. Both of them have been handed over to Bhudkuda police after lodging of a case in this connection.
