Workshop on Vedic knowledge on Feb 22-23

Varanasi: A two-day workshop on Vedic jurisprudence and its impact on contemporary world will be organised at the Centre for Vedic Science, Banaras Hindu University on February 22 and 23. Talking to reporters on Thursday, coordinator Dr Upendra Kumar Tripathi said that the workshop will focus on the scientific study and research of the knowledge embedded in entire Vedic literature.
The inaugural session would be attended by former justice of Supreme Court Dr BN Srikrishna and vice-chancellor of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (Deemed University) Odisha, Prof Harekrishna Satapathy. BHU vice-chancellor Prof Rakesh Bhatnagar would preside over the function.
