AHMEDABAD: City police chief Ashish Bhatia has issued an advisory cum notification, to be in effect from February 21 to April 24, 2020. The notification mentions that both US president Donald Trump and Indian PM Narendra Modi face terror threats, hence it becomes necessary to install CCTV cameras at petrol pumps, toll plazas and hotel's having sitting arrangement of 10 or more seats.
The notification says that the terror suspects often stop at petrol pumps, hotels and toll plaza's after committing the crime.
He has also made it mandatory for hotel, guest house and dharmshala owners to note every details of the guests including the vehicle numbers. The city police commissioner also declared the city sky a no drone zone but has exempted police or other security agencies from using it.
