A meeting of school principals was held at the PMC to plan the programme which was attended by nearly 100 principals.

PUNE: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has planned an educational initiative for the secondary school certificate (SSC std X) board exam for students. A special stress management and study revision programme will be undertaken for the students appearing for this exam. A meeting of school principals was held at the PMC to plan the programme which was attended by nearly 100 principals.
"We have seen that the students get bogged down due to the pressure of competition in the exam. The stress levels go very high, which adversely affects the students. The programme that we have planned aims at helping the students," said Dheeraj Ghate, the leader of house in PMC.
He said that subject experts and tutors will conduct a special workshop for these students. The subjects to be covered include Science, Mathematics, Marathi and English. Notes which will help in the study will be provided free of cost. They can help for last minute revisions and clearing concepts of various topics. The workshop will be held in the last week of February, so that students will get at least a fortnight to use these notes.
The participants will be from English as well as Marathi medium schools. Private as well as municipal school students will be urged to attend this programme, which will be free of cost.
