On Patralekhaa's birthday, Rajkummar Rao became his romantic self. The actor went on to praise his ladylove and in an adorable post, went on to state how he feels like he has just met her despite spending so many years with Patralekhaa.

Calling Patralekhaa prettiest and strongest girl, Rajkummar remembered the first time he saw Patralekhaa. Contrary to our beliefs, Rajkummar had seen Patralekhaa in an advertisement and wished that she would meet him someday, which turned into reality just a month later!

Taking to Instagram, Rajkummar wrote, "Happy birthday P! @patralekhaa. I still remember seeing you in an advertisement and wondering,” I wish I could meet this girl one day.” And as destiny or the universe would have it, much to my desire, I met you a month later. It has been so many years of togetherness, and yet, it feels like we’ve just met. You are the prettiest and the strongest girl I’ve met. Let’s create many more wonderful memories together."

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa worked in Hansal Mehta's 2014 release Patralekhaa. The two began dating on the sets and soon made their relationship official. When asked about their wedding plans, both Rajkummar and Patralekhaa mention that they would like to prioritize their career at the moment.
