Upcoming Odia film, Bajiba Lo Shahanai, that has Sambit Acharya, Amlan Das and Jhillik Bhattacharya in lead roles, is in the post-production stage. Actor Sambit who has two more films to be released this year is hopeful about this one also. At the same time, actor Amlan who tied knots recently is also banking on this film.
The movie is being directed by Asutosh Mahapatra, who is a popular name in jatra. Besides, another talent from Odia jatra world, music director Tapas alias Titan is also directing music for this film. Bibhu Prasad Mishra is the cinematographer of the flick.
The movie also has veteran film, television and jatra actor Raimohan Parida, Manisha Mishra, Hrushikesh, Suman, Bhupati, Pratibha Panda and several others playing various roles.
“I have directed several plays in Odia jatra and have an experience of the stage. This is my first attempt to do something new and different from what I had been doing. It’s a different kind of story and I hope people will accept our story-telling when the film hits theatres,” said the director.
