India, February 20th, 2020: A study undertaken by Sulekha, India’s leading AI-driven tech platform for expert services has unveiled interesting trends and insights about the spending capacity of users of home and office interior services across Indian cities.

This study is based on visits and searches by nearly 31,000 users across Indian cities that landed on Sulekha.

Key findings of the study:

Home Interiors

Office/ Commercial Interiors

Painting Services

Satya Prabhakar, Founder & CEO, Sulekha, said, “Beautifying homes has always been a part of Indian culture and it is very interesting for us to note the diverse spending trends across Indian cities. Interestingly, Mumbai is among the cities that spends the least on home interiors but when it comes to office/commercial interiors, they are willing to splurge. The cost of interior services is on par with the real estate costs in Mumbai. On the other hand, Chennaites are traditional and spend a smaller sum for both home and office interiors. Although metros are shelling out more, the Tier II cities are also quickly catching up with the trend.”

Sulekha will share interesting insights on multiple Home, Office and Education related services as a part of a regular Trend Tracker.
