LUCKNOW:
Mau police on Wednesday arrested the manager of a school for giving tips to students on how to cheat in examinations and escape the wrath of invigilators and law.
Pravin Mall, manager of
Haribansh Memorial School in Mau was arrested on the instructions of chief minister Yogi Adityanath after a student, who was present when Mall was addressing students, made a video of the entire session and uploaded it on the portal for complaints.
In the video, the manager is heard telling students to talk to each other while writing exams and disown the chit if an invigilator finds copying material from their possession.
“You should argue with the invigilator in such a situation or else he will get annoyed. Talking to each other is not similar to copying,” he is heard telling students. DM Mau Gyan Prakash Tripathi confirmed Mall’s arrest and said police action was initiated after the authenticity of the video was prima-facie corroborated.
