Arunachal Pradesh is celebrating its 34th Statehood Day today. Arunachal Pradesh attained statehood on February 20, 1987. Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the celebrations at Itanagar.
Home Minister Amit Shah will launch a slew of projects on the occasion. He will launch the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial and Investment Policy, 2020, inaugurate the Joram-Koloriang Road constructed by BRO, lay the foundation stone of the new headquarters of the state police and along with other projects. Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Dr. Jitendra Singh will also attend the function.
V P, PM Modi greet people of Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram on their Statehood Day
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their Statehood Day today. In a tweet, Mr Naidu said, people from these two beautiful hill states have made immense contribution to India’s growth and development.
Prime Minister also prayed for the continuous growth and development of both the states in the coming years. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Arunachal Pradesh is synonymous with patriotism and unwavering commitment to national progress. He said, people belonging to Mizoram have excelled in many spheres and contributed to India’s growth.
