Four including 2 students held with ganja

Rajkot: Four persons including a medical student and a student of architecture were arrested for illegally possessing ganja (marijuana) at Pithadia toll booth near Jetpur in Rajkot on Tuesday night.
Police said from the possession of medical student Darshan Pumpania (25), student of architecture Vatsal Gajera (22), Devrajsinh Jadeja (25) and owner of a petrol pump, Meet Rawal (25), they seized 85 gram of ganja worth Rs 595.
“The accused were arrested during a vehicle checking drive in which their car was checked. The bag containing ganja was emitting stench of ganja, following which we checked it and found the contraband,” said R A Bhojani, sub-inspector with Virpur police station.
The police have also seized the car of the accused.
