PITTSBURGH, Feb. 19, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- "My friend has a walk-in bathtub with a stationary seat that is very high," said an inventor from Cicero, Ill. "It takes too much time to fill up the water to sufficiently cover the seat. This led me to design a better seating option."

He developed the patent pending DANCY ADJUSTABLE TUB SEAT to serve as a comfortable seat for a walk-in bathtub. The seat enables the user to remain seated while washing and rinsing the body. It can be raised or lowered at the user's command. This allows less water to be used for bathing. It also reduces the risk of slips and falls. In addition, the seat is ideal for use by the elderly and individuals with physical handicaps.

The original design was submitted to the Chicago sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
