GATE answer key 2020: Raise objections from today

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on Tuesday released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 answer key on GOAPS portal.
Candidates can raise objections, if any, against GATE 2020 answer key through GOAPS portal. A module to challenge GATE 2020 answer key will be available on the official website from 11.00 am today i.e. February 19, 2020. Candidates can challenge the GATE 2020 answer key till February 21, 2020 (till 6.00 pm).
To challenge the answer key, candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 500 for each question challenged. Once the module is released, candidates can submit objections through the online link. Candidates can also make payment through online. It is to be noted that the entries will be considered only if the payment is completed successfully. If the entry is found to be correct, then the amount will be refunded to the concerned account.
The notification in this regard reads “The candidates can contest/challenge the answer key of any question after giving their justification and a payment of Rs. 500 (for each question) through the online payment link available in the GOAPS. Contests will be considered only if the payment is completed successfully. Payment for a challenge that is accepted will be refunded.”
While challenging the GATE 2020 answer keys, candidates are advised to ensure that the question number is as per the PDF file of the question paper uploaded on the official website. Candidates can also upload supporting documents while challenging the GATE 2020 answer key. Notification reads “A preview of the question selected is also shown in the contest portal. Make sure that you select the right section and the question number which you wish to contest. Please note that if the question number is not correctly identified, then the challenge will not be considered. If you are uploading any supporting document for the contest, you must mention the section name and question number in the document.”
Candidates should note that the decision of the GATE 2020 committee will be final and binding. GATE 2020 committee will not entertain correspondence or telephone calls on this matter.
