Vishwapreneur 2020 held in Pune

PUNE: The two-day national level flagship event of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of BRACT’s Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Vishwapreneur 2020 concluded on February 9 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch.

BJP State President Chandrakant Patil inaugurated the event in presence of Pradeep Rawat, the Chairman, National Shipping Board.

Patil and Rawat emphasised on the fact that the roots of entrepreneurship, of being self resilient and convicted towards a dream should be laid out at a stage that helps the students realise their potential.

Numerous sessions were held on both days, that included Ignite (by Rahul Narvekar, the Sun and Sands Advisor), Ultimate Security Tip (Sanjay Katkar and Kailash Katkar, co-founders of a now multi-crore company), Demystifying Start Ups (Atharva Patankar), Let’s Innovate (Nikhil Malhohtra, the Chief Innovation 

Officer at Tech Mahindra and the Head at Makers Lab), Taste of Success (Vinamra Pandya), Get, Set, Market (Abhinav Kumar, the Vice President of Product Marketing at PayTM) and finally, Infinity and Beyond (Siddharth Rajhans, founder of Spacify), Shiv Mohan and Markand Oza, senior scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation.)

‘YouTube Panel’ discussed latest social media marketing tips and saw Gaurav Choudhary aka Technical Guruji, Nikhil Sharma aka Mumbiker Nikhil, Shanice Shreshtha, popular youtuber Angry Prash and the moderator, Viraj Sheth, the Co-Founder of Monk Entertainment.

A special session on ‘Her Entrepreneurial Regin’ was held in which Soumya Iyer, the Founder of DViO Digital and a start up incubator, Rajashree Rao, head of R2D Labs, Rolls Royce and a TEDx Speaker, and Ankita Shroff participated.

CEO of Alacrity Innovation Centre Tushar Shetty and the Chief Innovation Officer of Ministry of HRD, Abhay Gere graced the valedictory function.

Gurudas Padhar, the Co-convenor of Vishwapreneur, gave a vote of thanks. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell provided this platform for students aspiring to become entrepreneurs.

TWO DAYS OF ENTHUSIASM
Rajkumar Agarwal and Bharat Agarwal, Vivek S Deshpande, Ravindra S Acharya and Kirti H Wanjale also contributed to the two marvellous days of zeal and enthusiasm with over 2,000 students in audience from Pune and other cities including Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Karad, Nashik, Solapur and Talegaon.
