2 green corridors formed in city

PUNE: City Traffic Police successfully transferred a heart and a pair of lungs after creating two green corridors on Tuesday.  

A heart was transferred from Ruby Hall Clinic to the airport in 6 minutes and then a pair of lungs was transported from to Balewadi Mahalunge to be transferred to Mumbai. Officials of Bund Garden,  Shivajinagar,  Chatuhshrungi and Vimantal Traffic Department coordinated the green corridors. 

Airports Authority of India (AAI) in a statement said Pune Airport in coordination with Indigo Airlines and CISF played a vital role in facilitating the transport of a heart. The heart was rushed from the hospital to the airport and the 6 persons accompanying it were cleared through security check on priority before they boarded Indigo flight 6E-528 to New Delhi.
