PITTSBURGH, Feb. 19, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- While garages provide the best protection for motor vehicles, many motorists do not have access to them. Fortunately, two inventors from Vale, N.C., have come up with the perfect solution for apartment dwellers, homeowners without garages or for those who simply need extra garage space.
They developed the patent-pending CAR PORTAL to provide protection against weather and other damage for cars parked outdoors. As such, it not only reduces the chances of vandalism and theft but keeps the car interior from becoming too hot in extremely high temperatures. Designed for easy entry and exit, it is simple to assemble, open and close. Other reasons for its appeal are convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price. In addition, it is durable, portable, practical and cost efficient. Also, it is useful for airports as well. It offers protection from specific weather conditions (salt water from ocean living, etc.).
The inventor's personal interests inspired the idea. "We wanted to provide a way to protect parked vehicles that don't have conventional garages against weather and other damage," one of them said.
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte 2 sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
