Queensland trio jailed over killing of drug dealer
Three men who put a drug dealer in a fishing Esky, deprived him of food and assaulted him have been sentenced to jail.
Stephen John Armitage, 50, his son, Matthew Leslie Armitage, 27, and William Francis Dean, 43, were sentenced in the Brisbane Supreme Court for Shaun Barker's manslaughter after their murder convictions were overturned last year.
Shaun Barker, whose charred remains were found near Gympie in 2014.
Stephen Armitage and Dean were sentenced to 10 years' jail each, while Matthew Armitage was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Barker's remains were found charred and scattered in a remote forest near Gympie, north of Brisbane, in April 2014, three months after he was reported missing.
