IAF chief to attend CAC meet today

Allahabad: Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria will visit Allahabad on Tuesday.
Defence public relations officer (PRO) Wing Commander Shailendra Pandey said the IAF chief will attend the CAC Commanders’ Conference hosted by Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Central Air Command, Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar.
The IAF chief will be accompanied by his wife and president of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) Asha Bhadauria.
The conference will be attended by the commanders of all air force stations within the jurisdiction of CAC. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum to commanders to exchange views on operation, maintenance and administrative matters requiring deliberations with senior officials at the command headquarters.
The Air Chief Marshal was commissioned in the fighter stream of IAF on June 15, 1980. An alumnus of National Defence Academy (NDA), he graduated from the Air Force Academy with the coveted ‘Sword of Honour’.
The Air Chief will address all air warriors and civilian employees of CAC headquarters on his vision for IAF.
AFWWA president Asha Bhadauria will interact with regional president of the association Jaya Kumar and preside over the board of management meeting. She will review various welfare measures undertaken for the benefit of ‘Sanginis’ and their family members to improve the quality of life.
