Cape Town - Stormers coach John Dobson on Tuesday gave a positive injury report as they prepared for this weekend's Super Rugby clash against the Jaguares at Newlands.

The Stormers snatched a last-gasp 33-30 win over the Lions at Ellis Park last weekend and apart from precautionary measures taken with two Springboks, the coach reported a clean bill of health.

Dobson addressed reporters at the team's High Performance Centre in Bellville on Tuesday when he said the only long-term injuries remained that of hooker Bongi Mbonambi and skipper Siya Kolisi.

Mbonambi is out for the Super Rugby season after undergoing surgery to his hamstring, while Kolisi is sidelined with a knee injury.

The two Springboks there is slight concern over are prop Wilco Louw and hooker Scarra Ntubeni, who spent most of Tuesday morning's training session on the sidelines.

Louw sprained his ankle in the match against the Lions and was working on an exercise bike next to the training field.

Ntubeni, who turns 29 on Tuesday, has a slight hamstring niggle and took time out with a boxing sparring session.

"We're in great injury shape - the only guys out are Siya and Bongi still," Dobson said, before adding: "We're giving Wilco until Thursday but I think he'll definitely make it. I'm sure he's fine."

With Mbonambi already out, the Stormers are wrapping Ntubeni in cotton wool.

"We're not taking any risks at hooker. He'll take part in the second session today - we've got two sessions in the heat..." the coach added.

Dobson will name his team on Thursday, with Saturday's clash scheduled for 15:05.
