UPPSC PCS preliminary result announced; 6320 candidates qualified

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the preliminary examination results of PCS and ACF on its official website. The candidates who have appeared for the UPPSC PCS and ACF preliminary examinations can visit the official website of UPPSC — uppsc.up.nic.in — to check and download their result.
UPPSC had conducted PCS and ACF preliminary examinations on December 15, 2019, at various centres — Agra, Prayagraj, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Barabanki, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Ghaziabad, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur City, Lucknow, Meerut, Moradabad, Raebareli, Sitapur, Varanasi, Mathura and Mirzapur. The candidates who have qualified the preliminary examination will have to appear for the main examination.
The UPPSC preliminary examination was conducted in two sessions — Paper I from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and Paper II from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Paper I had 150 questions and Paper II had 100 questions. Each papar was of 200 marks.
UPPSC had released the answer key for PCS and ACF preliminary examinaton on December 17, 2019. Candidates were given time till December 22, 2019, to raise objections against answer key.
How to check UPPSC PCS preliminary results
Candidates can follow the steps given below to check and download the UPPSC results.
1. Go to the official website of UPPSC — uppsc.up.nic.in
2. On the homepage click on the link which reads "List of candidates qualified for the PCS/ACF-RFO (Mains) Examination 2019"
3. It will direct to a new page of the UPPSC website
4. Press on Control and F (ctrl+F) and type your UPPSC roll number
5. Your UPPSC preliminary result will be displayed on the screen
6. Download and take a print out of the UPPSC preliminary result for future reference
