Sea dog! Hilarious moment German Shepherd is engulfed by ocean foam as he sits on the beach

This is the hilarious moment a German Shepherd dog is engulfed by sea foam at the beach.
The dog, named Dante, was filmed by his owner as it stood on the beach on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, Australia, last Thursday.
In the video, Dante is seen sitting on his haunches on the wet sand before a barrage of foam carried by the approaching waves sweeps over him.

The dog looks confused as he darts his head from side to side to watch the grey foam rise up his body.
The footage then slows down as the foam flows over his head and covers him completely.
The foam covers much of the screen, with Dante buried beneath it.
The foam quickly builds up until it is completely covering the dog, who then reappears with his whole body and head covered
After a few seconds, Dante is seen with his face and body covered in foam as he attempts to bound out from the deluge.
His owner can be heard laughing as the dog successfully escapes.
