COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) will hold a four-day water
exhibition --
Water Intec 2020 -- at the
CODISSIA trade fair complex from February 21.
The purpose of the exhibition is to educate the public about the latest available technology in the field of water management.
“There will be 40 stalls exhibiting the latest technologies for sewage treatment plant, recycling water and reverse osmosis,” said G Rammohan, chairman of the event.
The exhibition would be conducted as a concurrent event to the 10th edition of international building and construction trade fair Build Intec 2020.
As many as 300 stalls would exhibit building materials, M-sand and components, solar panels, bathroom accessories, energy efficient lights, water heaters and security and surveillance system at the event, said Rammohan.
An improved version of M-sand, Sinicon M-sand, would be launched at the event, Rammohan said. As Sinicon M-sand has the heat resisting quality, it does not allow much heat inside a building, according to Rammohan.
“We expect over 30,000 visitors, including the public, distributors, dealers, interior designers and consulting engineers, and a business of Rs 200 crore during the event,” CODISSIA president R Ramamoorthy said.
