InventHelp Presents Baby-Safe Enclosure (AAT-4323)
Feb 18, 2020, 10:45 ET
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- "My son wanted to have a gate to separate the living room from the kitchen to keep his daughter out," said an inventor from Carrollton, Ga. "There is not a gate wide enough to reach the opposite wall, and he did not want to put her in a playpen. So, I came up with this idea."
She created a prototype for BABY'S FIRST STEP, patent pending, to enable parents and caregivers to create a padded enclosure in which infants can play. The invention keeps a child out of undesirable locations and away from breakables. It eliminates the need to place the child in a conventional playpen. The padded area is designed to enhance the child's safety. It provides the child with the freedom to walk, run, play and investigate the area. Additionally, the unit is easy to set up, take down and transport.
The original design was submitted to the Atlanta sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
