Samajwadi Party leader’s son jumps before PM Narendra Modi’s convoy, held

VARANASI: One Ajay Yadav, son of former Samajwadi Party district chief Satish Fauji jumped on the road as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy came near and waved party flag and a black jacket in protest. He was quickly overpowered by security personnel.
Yadav was arrested by Lanka police for breaching PM’s security and booked under Sections 186 (voluntarily obstructs any public servant in the discharge of his public functions), 187, 332 (voluntarily causes hurt to any person being a public servant in the discharge of his duty), 353 (assault on or use of criminal force against a public servant in order to deter him from discharging his duty) and 341 (wrongful restraint) of IPC, said SP city Dinesh Kumar Singh.
