Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has now decided to move forward on the National Population Register (NPR).

According to the news, CM Uddhav Thackeray wants to start the process of the National Population Register in Maharashtra from May 1. This whole exercise is being openly opposed by the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party. NCP chief Sharad Pawar has also registered objections in this matter. According to a senior NCP leader, a similar decision will be taken in this matter which is acceptable to the three parties.
