Man thrashed for duping 6 in name of jobs

Jhansi: A man was thrashed by villagers in Chirgaon area of Jhansi on Monday for allegedly duping around six persons in the name of jobs and houses under the government scheme. FIR have been lodged on the complainst of both the sides.
The incident came to light after one of the villagers filmed the incident and made it viral on social media. The video shows few men tying hands of a man to a log.
After the matter reached the police, it was found that one Rammilan Yadav had allegedly duped around six persons, mainly labourers, of money promising them government jobs and houses. On Monday the villagers caught him and thrashed him after tying his hands to a log.
Circle Officer, Moth, Abhishek Kumar Rahul said, “We have lodged FIR of both the sides at Chirgaon police station and are investigating the matter in details. Further action will be taken on the basis of investigation”.
