Taapsee Pannu hails Supreme Court's decision to grant permanent commission to women officers in Indian Army

Hailing Supreme Court's decision to grant permanent commission along with command posts for women officers in Indian Army, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu emphasised the need to change mindsets as she took to Twitter to share the news of the historic judgement. Her view was seconded by most of her fans. Meanwhile, citing the many accolades brought by women Army officers, the Apex Court bench said a change of mindset is required on part of the government to put an end to gender discrimination in armed forces. The Supreme Court, while granting three months time to the Centre to implement its order, slammed them for denying equal opportunity to women officers by citing multiple reasons.
