The Managing Director of the international Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva said on Sunday that the coronavirus epidemic could badly damage global economic growth. Speaking at the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai, she said that they were still hoping to be in the 0.1-0.2% space. She did also say that a sharp and rapid economic rebound could follow the drop. She also underlined that the full impact of the virus would also largely depend on how fast the disease could be contained.
