Container derails at Vadodara rly station

The derailment occurred on the up line towards Mumbai on Monday
Vadodara: Container of a goods train derailed near platform one of Vadodara railway station on Monday noon.
Two wheels of a front trolley of the goods container derailed just as the train was passing from near platform one.
The goods train had 45 loaded containers of which the 11th from the engine got derailed.
The train had started its journey from Dadri near Allahabad and was on its way to Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Mumbai.
The derailment occurred on the up line towards Mumbai. However, it did not disrupt train traffic movement on the line as there were no trains scheduled to arrive at the time of derailment.
“An accident relief medical equipment reached the spot and it was re-railed before 1 pm. No trains got delayed due to the derailment,” said Khemraj Meena, public relations officer of Vadodara railway division.
