Examination Procedure
The examination will have two papers and each will be of 100 marks.
(A) General Studies Paper - I (Time: 3 Hours)
i) History of India and Indian National Movement
ii) India and World Geography
iii) Indian Polity and Economy
iv) History, Geography, Economics and Culture of Jharkhand
(B) General Studies Paper - II (Time: 3 Hours)
i) General Science
ii) General Mental Ability
iii) Current events of state, national and international importance
iv) Basic numerical and quantitative aptitude
On the basis of preliminary test around 10 times of the candidates will be eligible for the mains examination.
The main examination will be subjective and will have three papers
Paper I: Time - 3 hours, Total Marks - 100
i) General Hindi 50 marks
a) Nibandh 15 marks
b) Vayakaran 15 marks
c) Anuchhed aadharit bodhatmak prashan 10 marks
d) Sankchhepan 10 marks
ii) General English 50 marks
a) Short Essay (400 words) 15 marks
b) Grammar 15 marks
c) Comprehension Passage 10 marks
d) Business Letter 10 marks
Paper II: General Studies: Time - 3 hours, total marks - 100
a) General Principles of Financial Management in State/Public Sector
b) Social problems of India with Special reference to Jharkhand
c) Economic problems of India with special focus to Jharkhand in the areas of Agriculture/Industry/Social and Human resource development (Health, Education etc.)
Paper III
a) Business Studies and Accounts b) Economics c) Mathematics d) Statistics.
