No proposal of alliance with YSRC: Sunil Deodhar

VISAKHAPATNAM: BJP national secretary Sunil Deodhar on Saturday made it clear that both YSRC and TDP are political rivals of BJP and there is no proposal of an alliance with either of the parties. Addressing reporters, Sunil, who is also the in-charge of BJP affairs in AP, said there was no proposal of an alliance with the YSRC “either through front door or back door”. He said he came to know that one of the ministers had commented that YSRC is ready to join the NDA government at the Centre.
“BJP already has an alliance with Jana Sena and we will jointly contest the local body polls. We will not go for any alliance, neither with YSRC nor with TDP. We are quite clear on this. We don’t want any debate, discussion or comments on this issue,” he asserted, while adding that “both YSRC and TDP are playing mind games in AP”. Sunil also accused both YSRC and TDP of indulging in corruption. “TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu committed irregularities during his tenure, now chief minister Jaganmohan Reddy is committing the same mistakes. Even though the state is reeling under revenue deficit, the YSRC government has been announcing freebies. The state will be in deep trouble due to this kind of practice. There was no corruption when NTR was the CM. It was Naidu who introduced corruption in AP,” he alleged.
He also claimed that the Centre is yet to give its consent to the three capitals proposal.
