People of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, will be able to get Jan Aadhaar card free of charge through e-Mitra.
Giving information about this, District Collector Dr. Jogaram said that under the 'Jan Aadhaar Scheme 2019', the process has been fixed for free distribution of Jan Aadhaar cards in all rural and urban areas of Jaipur district. District Collector Dr. Jogaram has instructed all the subdivision officers, development officers and executive officers of the district in this regard.
He informed that after printing Jan Aadhaar cards will be delivered directly by the service provider from the speed-post or through couriers to the municipal bodies, block headquarters. Delivery of these cards will be received by the Development Officer in rural areas and at the level of Sub Divisional Officer, Executive Officer in urban areas. The development officer, subdivision officer, executive officer will process the receipt, distribution, and cancellation of the defective cards online.
