Named after the iconic Thai cannabis Sativa strain, indigenous to the region, Squirrel Tail see the MoA, as a path to establish themselves at the forefront of the thriving international medical tourism market in Pattaya and Thailand.  The products from this research and development will eventually be used at Squirrel Tail Clinic for the treatment of patients from around the world.

The Rabbit Resort Pattaya project comes in line with both the Thai ministry of public health and the ministry of tourism and sports, goals for Thailand to become a prime global destination for alternative medicine. The owners are currently in the process of designing and implementing the stringent construction guidelines as set forth in the MoA.

Beyond medical and wellness, Cannabis tourism is a popular potential new revenue stream for the nation’s industry, which has had its’ head turned by the huge success of wine and weed-themed tours in the USA. And, companies like Squirrel Tail, alongside a new generation of dynamic Thai entrepreneurs, like Bonn Paramacharoenroj, who inspired attendees of this year’s TTF with the promise of marijuana-scented profits — are establishing themselves as pioneers of this new and exciting market.

Though Squirrel Tail is limited to the medical use of the plant — an active ingredient in more than 90 Thai herbal medicines, going back over 800 years — the scope for success, from a legal global industry, expected to reach a value of USD 66.3billion by 2025, is not to be sniffed at.

As part of the Rabbit Resort Pattaya compound, Squirrel Tail Clinic is located directly on beautiful Dongtan Beach in Jomtien-Pattaya, Thailand. The products from this research and development will eventually be used at Squirrel Tail Clinic for the treatment of patients from around the world.
