Mumbai: Vakrangee posted profits of Rs 21.44 crore at the end of the December quarter against Rs 3 crore during the same period last year. Its revenue from operations doubled to Rs 199.2 crore while the total income grew nearly 84% at Rs 218 crore.

The company said its robust growth was due to focus on store profitability and service activation across its network.

Vakrangee is in the business of creating last-mile link through technology-based retail points called Vakrangee Kendra. The company said its network throughput has crossed $ 1 billion during the December quarter, with its kendra’s achieving operational breakeven.

Through its network of 23,000 outlets Vakrangee is conducting 24 million transactions on its platform quarterly, it said.
