Red is a colour which is synonymous with Indian weddings and it's also the colour which symbolises Valentine's Day. And now that Valentine's fever is in the air, we thought of presenting to you five gorgeous brides who picked up the most stunning red lehengas ever, making them the perfect Valentine brides.
We recently came across a bride who wore a stunning red and white colour combination for her wedding and you can't miss to see the photos. Bride Janani wore a Sabyasachi lehenga for her Anand Karaj wedding. Her lehenga was white in colour, which was enhanced with a statement border in red colour. It was paired with a red embroidered blouse. She styled it with a single dupatta draped over her shoulders. Keeping her look simple, she accessorised her look with a choker necklace, round earrings and a matha-patti.
A picture of a radiant bride went viral recently, and quite interestingly she is seen wearing a lehenga similar to the one donned by Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. The dupatta of her lehenga is almost the same as the one Deepika flaunted. The bride, Ravina is seen wearing the lehenga with a cropped blouse and styled her dupatta over her head, draped on both the shoulders. The Sanskrit script can be seen on her dupatta and on the waistband of the skirt as well. For her jewellery, the bride has opted for a layered necklace with green stones and a matha-patti. She can also be seen wearing kaleeras, kind of similar to Deepika again. However, the length was a bit smaller than hers.
Almost every bride dreams to wear a Sabyasachi lehenga on her big day. The designer is known worldwide for his magical bridal lehengas. That was the case for real bride Sunpreet, who wore two gorgeous Sabyasachi lehengas for her pre-wedding festivities and her big day. Before the big day, Sunpreet wore a stunning floral-print lehenga for her pre-wedding function. The ivory lehenga featured floral prints in light pink and peach hues. She styled it with a shimmery sequined blouse in golden pink hue. Not to miss was a matching print potli bag, the bride carried along!
Silk has always been considered as one of the most regal fabrics in India. Worn on many traditional occasions, silk ensembles have their own charm. This rich textile has even made its way into the wedding trends market. While silk saris have been quite popular in South-Indian weddings, brides are now also wearing silk lehengas on their wedding. That was the case for bride Priya, who picked a gorgeous Benarasi lehenga for her day wedding in London. Her lehenga featured traditional motifs with golden border highlighted with sequins. She matched it with a simple silk blouse, matching with the lehenga.
Canada based Gurinder and Jessica had the most beautiful wedding ever held in Vancouver and the Sikh couple made sure they looked nothing less than regal in their respective wedding attire. Jessica wore a magnificent red lehenga by Asiana Couture. The ensemble featured a short plain red choli with silver embroidery on the sleeves, an elaborate skirt with beautiful jharokha embroidery in silver and a matching sheer dupatta.
