KALYAN: Joyous with the huge victory in Delhi,
Aam Aadmi Party has decided to contest the upcoming Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) election, which is likely to be held in October month. AAP leaders in Dombivli confirmed their plans to contest the upcoming
KDMC election with full strength on all 122 seats.
The AAP has also put posters across Kalyan- Dombivli city saying "When things can change in Delhi, why not in Maharashtra". The banners also say "let's make
Maharashtra developed and courruption-free".
Deepak Dubey, joint secretary of Dombivli assembly and member of social media committee of Maharashtra said, "The city people are fed up with traditional politics and now people also want change. This is why we have decided to contest upcoming KDMC election with full strength on all seats".
AAP volunteers in Kalyan-Dombivli are active for last many years since party came into existence but it is the first time when they have decided to contest election. AAP has secured an absolute majority in Delhi assembly elections by winning 62 seats out of 70.
