Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Jersey. The movie is the Hindi remake of 2019 Telugu hit film of the same name which starred Nani in the leading role. In the film, Shahid plays the role of a cricketer, who eyes to join the team at the age where plays plan to take up retirement. Currently, Shahid has become an actor who focuses on one project at one time. After the release of Kabir Singh, the talented actor took up Jersey.

Now as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Shahid is likely to be seen in a Karan Johar produced film. The yet to be announced film will be filled with high octane action sequences, space which the actor has not explored much.

Talking about it, a source had told the tabloid, "It has patriotic undertones and will be directed by a debutant. Shahid is a fan of the action genre and is excited about being a part of this film. He needs to bulk up for the part, so the prep will begin a few months before he starts shooting for the film, which is expected to go on the floors in the second half of the year. It is currently in the pre-production stage."

While earlier when Shahid was asked about the speculations, he had said, "I haven’t confirmed anything officially… The biking film has been offered to me, and we are in talks. I’m not sure what I am doing next."

Interestingly, Shahid is an avid bike enthusiast and also had gone on a road trip across Europe with Kunal Kemmu, brother Ishaan Khatter among others.
