Owner ken parker says accidents can always happen -- but they've been avoided due to his strict safety protocols.
Parker has four rules he tells all his new clients including -- always believe a gun is loaded and keep your finger off the trigger unless your sights are on target.
If it's someone's first time with a gun-- parker walks them through a safety briefing and sometimes goes in the range with them.
Ken parker, parker's gun range, owner "a lot of people's definitions of what is safe is not what a professional would call safe in a gun range.
Sometime you get people who get careless and put their finger on the trigger before they're suppose to.
You get people who lose control of the muzzle, and that's just something you can't have at a gun range."

Haley hughey, reporter "parker says they see thousands of people from all across the world have never used a gun, so gun safety is their number one priority.
