A man is on the run after stealing a watch worth more than $100,000 during a Melbourne jewellery store robbery.
Police said the man walked into the shop on Collins Street about 10.40am on February 5.
He threatened staff with a syringe before smashing a glass display.
The man then ran out of the store with the watch and fled on a bicycle.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crime and have released images of a man with a distinctive tattoo on his left bicep.
He was wearing a wig and black rubber gloves.
CCTV footage has been released showing the armed robbery as police hunt for the man responsible.
