MSU students, friends caught red-handed with liquor in hostel

Vadodara: Two students of MS University’s science faculty and their two friends were nabbed for possessing alcohol at KM Hall on boys’ hostel campus on Wednesday.
The warden of the KM Hall had received a tip-off that students in one of the rooms were involved in some illegal activity. The warden called the vigilance staff on getting the information and raided the room.
The vigilance staff said that the two friends were not students of the university and had come there to meet the science students. On checking the duo’s bags, the vigilance staff found two bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor.
On questioning, the students said that they had planned to consume alcohol but their plan was blown up. All four of them were handed over to Sayajigunj police station. However, police let all of them go next morning without registering any offence. tnn
