CHENNAI: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) will be conducting its annual exhibition in Chennai between February 21 and 23. As many as 400 housing projects in and around Chennai would be showcased at Credai
Fairpro 2020.
This is the 13th edition of the annual event held at Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam.
Briefing reporters on Wednesday,
Credai Fairpro 2020 convenor Sivagurunathan said the price range of dwelling units would be from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 10 crore.
Credai Chennai chapter president W S Habib said that all housing projects that would be put on display are located within the Chennai Metropolitan Area, comprising Chennai, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts.
"Anywhere between 10,000 and 15,000 dwelling units would be available for the homebuyers to choose from. About 15 per cent of housing projects that are to displayed are new launches" he said.
Seventy developers, who are members of Credai, would be participating in the real estate fair that has a range of housing products including apartments, plots and villas.
Nearly 15,000 visitors are expected to participate in the fair. While the last year's real estate fair recorded business to the tune of Rs 110 crore, the developers are expecting bookings amounting to Rs 200 crore in the upcoming event.
