Andhra's capital in Vizag to loot money: BJP state chief Kanna Lakshminarayana

GUNTUR: BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana has alleged that chief minister YS Jagan is planning to shift the capital city to Visakhapatnam only to loot monies from land scams. He said that BJP will extend its fullest support to the Amaravati farmers and their demand to retain the capital city in Amaravati.
A delegation of farmers from Amaravati met Kanna Lakshminarayana at his residence on Wednesday and appraised him of the latest situation. They urged BJP chief to take active role to protect the interests of the capital city farmers saying that they have full faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Interestingly, Kanna’s comments against chief minister Jagan were significant particularly in the wake of chief minister meeting PM Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Addressing the farmers, Kanna said that people of AP were struggling between two gangs of real-estate mafia led by Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan. He said that Naidu was the chief culprit of making Amaravati a real-estate venture instead of building the capital city. He said that Jagan had searched for the looting opportunities in Amaravati in the first six months and realized that there was nothing left by Naidu. “After realizing that there is nothing to make monies, Jagan has suddenly decided to move the capital city to Visakhapatnam. He sets his eyes only on reaping rich from the capital city,” fumed Kanna. He said that people from Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram were also not in favour of location of the capital city in their vicinity for fear of losing their precious lands to YSRC land sharks.
He said that Jagan had put the state on boil without achieving anything in the last seven months. He said that chief minister was thinking that people would back him by disbursement of freebies. “People have already realized that Jagn would do no good to the poor and commoners as he hiked RTC, power and petroleum charges in the last seven months. The government is virtually sucking the blood of the commoners,” Kanna criticized. He suggested that the state government should immediately withdraw plans to shift the capital city and work for the welfare of the people. Kommineni Satyanarayana, Lanka Sudhakar, Avula Venkateswara Rao, G Swarajya Rao, Kommineni Sivaiah and others were present.
