Fallen tree that blocked Brisbane CBD street cleared
Motorists were warned to expect delays through Brisbane's CBD after a large tree fell across Mary Street on Wednesday morning.
Police closed the segment between Albert Street and Edward Street after the incident was reported about 8.15am.

Nobody was injured in the incident, which occurred outside 133 Mary Street.
The RACQ urged motorists to avoid the area while the scene was cleared. The street was reopened about 11.30am.
A crash on North Quay inbound after Herschel Street also caused Wednesday morning CBD traffic delays.
Truck breakdowns northbound on the Centenary Highway at Darra, Appleby Road at Stafford Heights and inbound on Milton Road at Toowong caused further issues for commuters.
On Tuesday, a large fallen tree caused traffic chaos when it blocked Sandgate Road in Clayfield, causing heavy delays and bus diversions as crews worked to clear the scene.
