‘It was the worst night of my life’: American backpacker claims he was throttled by overzealous security guards at a nightclub after bumping into a girl on a dancefloor

An American YouTuber claimed he had the 'worst night of his life' after he was choked by a security guard at a popular nightclub.
Kevin Droniak had a 'traumatic' night out at a hotel in Melbourne that ended in him being dragged out by five security guards last month.
He said the altercation began after he bumped into another girl on the dancefloor and accidentally spilled her drink.
The YouTuber said he was then pounced on by security guards who pulled him out of the club before one started to choke him for so long he struggled to breathe.
'It goes up there in probably one of the worst nights of my life,' Droniak said on his YouTube channel.
Droniak said he believes the girl who he had bumped into had told guards to kick him out.

'Instead of talking to me like a human being, (the security guard) grabbed me from behind,' Droniak said.
Shocked that someone had grabbed him, Droniak said he pushed him away and the security guard fell onto the floor.
'Next thing I know there were five other security guards who rushed over to me and start dragging me out, mind you no words had been spoken this entire time,' he said.

Droniak said he was kicked out of the club by several security guards who didn't say a word to him
'They acted like I had a weapon or something and I was being dragged out of the club on the floor.
'I tried to get away from them and one of the security guards chokes me like I could not breathe for five seconds.
'It was a very traumatic experience and I just don't expect to get choked when I'm going out,' Droniak said.
Droniak spent several weeks travelling around Australia, sharing his experiences with his 92,000 Instagram followers.
The YouTuber had spent time in Perth and Rottnest Island in Western Australia before holidaying around Victoria and Tasmania.
He said he wouldn't recommend the hotel to other travellers after his night.
