A young boy has been rushed to hospital after being sucked down a drain on the Gold Coast.
The nine-year-old was sucked into the drain at Latimers Crossing in Nerang on Wednesday afternoon, Nine News reported.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said they were called to a home in Gilston just after 4.40pm.
Paramedics treated the boy for minor scrapes to his head following a 'post immersion' incident.
He has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
